VOL 2

The saga of Nazi hunting continues for Hunter and Jordan.  These 21 year olds are carrying through on the promise made to their second grade teacher whose brother was killed by Nazis at D-Day.

As our young men pursue this mission they befriend the great English detective Sherlock Holmes and his noble assistant Dr. John Watson.  The how and why of this new alliance should not be summarized here.  It must be read.  You are invited to read Chapter 1 “Hunter and Holmes.”

It takes no time for the boys to set a plan to trap Nazis from the Munich Sports Club in London in a cross continent caper involving art stolen art during the war.  The men at the club were all guards trained at Trawniki (Poland) and were responsible for the torture and death of thousands.

With the help of Mr. Holmes, Hunter and Jordan hire the former guards as their security team for a massive sale of stolen art.  The boys are ably assisted by Count Felix von Kramm.

“You remember a Scandal in Bohemia,” Holmes said.  “I always liked the character in that disguise, Count Felix.  I always thought he deserved another shot with the disguise.”

Holmes and our young Nazi hunters are called upon by the British Government to perform a surgical takedown of an embarrassing Royal mess.  The Duke of Windsor and his would be queen Wallis Simpson got too close to the Nazis after Churchill sent them off to the Bahamas where Edward became Governor.  Now there is a Nazi inspired banking juggernaut in the Bahamas that has the money to spread Nazi propaganda to Central and South America.

Chapter 4 raises the question of why  Nazis in Ireland?  A surprise to all.  Turns out ancient caves are great places to hide looted art.  The Monuments Women of London, including Anne Bell and Lady Lynn Nicholas provide their expertise on identifying stolen art.  Makes you wonder if we’ll ever get a movie about Monuments Women.  A story that has been kickstarted in HST, Volume 2.  Now it’s time for their story on the big screen.

Meanwhile, in France, the boy’s mentor Tom Charlebois is embarrassed to discover Nazis in postwar France involved in black-market sales of stolen art.  Traps are set in Aix en Provence with the help of former Resistance comrade Angel Nichelieu.

In Argentina, Tom Charlebois explains the details of Eichman’s escape after being found at the end of the war.  “He was like a ghost.”  There were no photos of him until a Nazi hunter got a photo from a mistress.

Our young Nazi hunters go to Argentina to see if they can pick up the trail of the murderous ghost.  They are aided by Father Fitzmaurice, a papal emissary (aka Sherlock Holmes).

The gang creates a ruse to get the suspected Eichman (nka Ricardo Klement) to come out of his house so he can be identified.

But how did Eichman get to Argentina?  Turns out the Red Cross in Italy provided him cover.  When part-time Nazi hunter Ernest Hemingway is told of this connection he offers to help the boys take down the target Don Angelino (Mussolini), nephew of Uncle Benito.  Hemingway does not have the patience for this job.  “….(W)e still have friends from the Resistance days who could easily turn Don Angelino’s small mansion into smithereens and dust.”

Before Volume 2 is over, our Nazi hunters head off to Hawaii to find out why the Nazis have set up banking business in the South Pacific.  The Saxony Bank of Hawaii is preparing to restore the Reich.

Hunter and Jordan reach out to a friend, Kurt Vonnegut, who was a prisoner of war in Dresden.  He helps them prepare for the Hawaiian mission.
